Anyone can snowshoe, it's as easy as walking and fun for all ages and fitness levels. Snowshoeing gives you a great low-impact, heart-healthy workout that burns approximately 25 percent more calories than walking. Today’s compact, streamlined frames in gender specific designs enable snowshoers to have a normal stance and natural stride. Easy-to-use men's and women's specific bindings provide directional control and stability in variable terrain and snow conditions and custom fit a wide array of boot styles and sizes.

Yes. If you cannot participate in an event but would still like to collect pledges or make a donation, you can register for "Snowed in for the Cure". On the Romp to Stomp homepage, click on the event that you would like to collect pledges for. You will then have the ability to select "Snowed in for the Cure." At the end of registering for "Snowed in for the Cure", you will be provided a link to set up a fundraising page provided by ActiveGiving.

Each "Snowed In" participant will receive a goodie bag which will include a Romp Series t-shirt, Nalgene water bottle and other products, plus your money will go to end the fight against breast cancer.

Buy a section of tickets at a group rate for a local sporting event and charge twice the price.
Put up a poster in the lunch room at work (with your name and a link to your personal pledge page).
Host a fundraising party at your home.
Ask your dentist for a donation.
In lieu of a birthday gift, ask for a donation to the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Series.
Add the link to your Romp Pledge Page to your email signature.

While we cannot guarantee a pair of snowshoes, we strive to do our best to make sure that each participant has access to snowshoes if needed. Tubbs provides 400 pair of demo snowshoes on a first come, first serve basis.

Seventy-five percent of net proceeds remain in the Affiliate’s service area, funding local breast cancer projects, such as the Vermont State Breast Cancer Emergency Fund or Utah Partners for Health . Twenty-five percent of net proceeds are sent to the National Organization to fund international and national breast cancer research programs.

All Romp to Stomp events are designed to incorporate various fitness levels and abilities. Whether you’re a first time snowshoer or veteran racer, the Romp course will be sure to accommodate your needs as a participant. Remember, you set your own pace.

You can register three ways;
1. Online - Visit the Romp homepage, select which event you would like to participate in, and click "Register Now".
2. Mail-In - Complete the registration form and mail with check payable to: Tubbs Snowshoe Company, Attn: Romp to Stomp, 52 River Road Stowe, VT 05672
3. Day of Event - Visit the Registration tent on-site to register.

The overall donation goal for the 2008 Romp to Stomp Series is $250,000. Make sure to set up your online fundraising page after registering for an event.

Yes, you must be present to win an award or raffle prize. We are unable to mail awards and prizes.
