To the Appalachian Lodge for Event Day Check In
The Appalachian is the main lodge on the East side of the road at Mountain Creek Vernon Base Area. This is where Romp participants will check in and pick up their event materials.

To the Start/Finish Line
The Romp to Stomp snowshoe course starts and ends near the top of the Cabriolet lift, which is part of the Mountain Creek Base Area. Participants catch the lift just a short walk from the Appalachian lodge. A lift ticket is required to ride the lift. (All participants will receive special ticket as a part of their Romp registration.)

PARKING

There is plenty of free parking on the West side of the road (across the street from the Appalachian Lodge) or you’re welcome to choose priority parking for $20 right next to the Appalachian lodge.

After parking, gather your belongings (everything you’ll need for the day) from your vehicle and proceed to the pedestrian bridge located in Cobblestone Village. The bridge is the only way for pedestrians to cross busy Route 94, and connects the Vernon parking lots to the Vernon Base area.
